Zombie Anime

OK, so one the of the reasons I don't watch many anime is that they seem to follow in each others footsteps regarding storyline and/or characters. I mean, you could watch a few anime on zombies, but they all seem to have the same character set or the same kind of city. There is only really one I liked and that was High School of the Dead. There was a wide array of characters all of which had a different skillset. I also enjoyed how it started and were it was based.

Is there any more animes based on Zombies that anyone would recommend? Preferably one with a lot of episodes to keep me busy .

Unfortunately, zombies aren't really a big thing in Japan. I've seen a shit ton of anime, but I've only ever come across a few zombie anime that are like actual zombie movies. High School of the Dead is great but there isn't much out there like that one.
