Let's say Zoro knows croc's weakness and puts water on his swords. Can he take it? Alabasta version of Zoro.

Of-course unless Croc sucks it dry. Although I do wonder whether Zoro could feel the breath of sand, well he can definitely probably feel Crocodile's.

Easily. Crocodile's hook is the only protection he has against a sword, and Zoro has 3. Theres np physical way he could manage all 3 at once. With wet swords Zoro could do some pretty insane damage to him right off the bat.

A sword is different. How does crocodile defend 3 separate swords at the same time? With Luffy only able to make physical attacks, he doesnt pose as much of a threat as someone with blades imo. Luffy is stronger than Zoro by a bit, but the circumstances would have Zoro being superior imo.

Assuming Zoro and Luffy were pretty close at this point, Zoro takes it due to superior power and skill. It is possible a fair gap formed from Luffy almost dying in his first match with Crocodile if we take Enies Lobby Zoro's statement that surviving death allowed the Straw Hats to constantly become stronger as a constant though.

Fair enough, although I think the Desert Espada could serve as a good counter.

Yeah I can see that, but if Zoro can manage to dodge he'll be ok. Maybe I shouldn't have said easily at the start, Zoro will likely struggle here but I do see him winning.

Water on the blades would only last so long and its not like his swords can bleed. Zoro gets his ass beat.
