Ranfan wins. She's a gag character but I think her feats were somewhat serious.

She hurts Namu pretty badly, but we can’t forget how easily Nam defeats her. It was just a single light chop to the neck.

Yeah, I'd agree with this. I'm ok with her being weaker than Yamcha, I think she should be the weakest, but she ain't that weak.

They should be comparable. How does Lion Master compare to Yamcha? They’re both respectable, but got casually tossed out like trash.

Bacteria, Lion Master, Ranfan, Yamcha and Silver are all in the same tier. Bacteria has the best feat, but it’s a passive feat so it’s not very clear. Murasaki might be in this tier too, at the very top.

Lion Fang would beat Ran Fan imo. He's a legitimate martial arts master who was skilled enough to develop his own style. Ran Fan had moderate skill at best, having a trump card that had nothing to do with martial arts. She beats the Bullies relatively easily, but I think Lion Fang beats her relatively easily as well.

Murasaki should be closer to Giran/Krillin territory imo. Silver is in this area though.

Could be the case, but she looks quite skilled. I think she beats Karate Bear and Bruce Lee. But you might be right, Lion Fang is legit.

She lands some devastating attacks on Namu. And her technique is legit. She's throwing some very high quality kicks and I doubt she needed to flirt her way to get into the finals.

He should definitely be above Silver.

He is the next stage after Metallic.

He knows what an afterimage is.

Goku uses at least some effort against him.

Goku wasn't able to instantly catch up to him.

He was able to threaten Goku at times.



I think I'll have to agree though. Murasaki is probably closer to Giran than he is Krillin I'd say.

Agreed, she is much more skilled than I originally gave her credit for.

The real issue is how does she do beyond that tier?

Yamcha didn't do much for his training, Goku didn't note any significant gains (he was just talking about the Yamcha he fought before the tournament when he said that Yamcha was strong), and Yamcha was already counting himself out before Goku and Kuririn used anywhere close to their real power.

Well, it's not a bad argument. But I still think Yamcha easily beats Goku from before. He has been training hardcore for 8 months or so, I like to give him at least some improvement.
