He looks too angry. And like he dyed his hair. My guy doesn't have time to do that while avoiding or fighting the androids. His city barely transports basics safely, forget hair dye.
It also feels like his hair is separate from him, like just his head and black hair and then someone botched a hair transplant on him, so he's angry. Maybe that's just an editing issue or it's because of the hair colour change combined with that length disconnection.
If I cover his black hair with my fingers, the black eyebrows and grey hair don't clash too much.

Trunks clearly takes care of his hair, though. It's kinda funny that he regularly finds the time to give himself a neatly shaved haircut while the androids are slaughtering everyone. Reminds me of when No.13 dissed him in the Funimation dub of Super Android 13, "Don't lecture me with your 30 dollar haircut, boy".

It's due to how the sides and back of his hair are shaved. Honestly, I never liked that aspect of Trunks's hairstyle. His hair should normally be chin-length, like this:

If Trunks had something like that, I guess one half could be purple/blue and the other half black. I'll make more edits when I wake up lol gonna sleep now
