How do you accommodate all of the title's statements?

Did the "bet on Kaidou 1vs1"/"strongest creature" only start during the timeskip? Is Kaidou stronger one-on-one, but Whitebeard is able to do more damage to multiple opponents/the environment so is stronger? Is Kaidou the strongest creature and WB the strongest man? Is WB just being based on his very old reputation? Is it related to Kaidou's special durability? Is Whitebeard "strongest" based on a combination of his fighting prowess and his worldly influence? Or are the descriptions coming from different characters (some think WB is the strongest, others think it's Kaidou)?

So do you think Kaido being the strongest creature or in a one vs one is just for after WB left?

Kaido might have been called the strongest creature when Whitebeard was called the strongest man. Both can be true simultaneously. But the timing of him being called the strongest creature makes it apparent that he's the strongest entity alive.

So Kaidou is stronger than pre-illness Whitebeard? Do you think he was also stronger than prime Whitebeard?
Does Kaidou have the same offensive power as WB?

I also wonder why they specified if it's one vs one bet on Kaidou. Is it because his crew isn't strong or well-balanced so he'd lose a group fight?

Strongest Creature encompasses everything. World Strongest Man is of course, among humans. Though with Kaido's title, it sounds more like hearsay rather than a proven fact.

Regardless, Roger = Whitebeard > Kaido is basically indisputable.

Pre illness Whitebeard? I doubt it. If Whitebeard was capable of using Haki I can’t see how he’d have regressed enough to lose to Kaido. Even without Haoshoku he was destroying Akainu with half a head. Imagine that guy being healthy without illness…

The one on one thing might just be because Kaido was proven to be ”invincible”. He survived executions and never died despite the amount of times he was captured. It sounds like he’s unbeatable.
