Damaged Piccolo vs Damaged Vegeta

Who was at a lower percentage of power.

Damaged Vegeta when fighting Gohan.

Or Damaged Piccolo at the 23rd Budokai?

Vegeta's top power is 18k in the Saiyan Saga. Gohan's power is probably around 1,500. So we have confirmation Vegeta is fighting at around 10% of his power. Is Piccolo doing the same?

I'm inclined to go with Vegeta because 10% is a minuscule number. Piccolo might have been 20-25% if I had to guess.

Gohan got a rage boost. That same Vegeta oneshotted Kuririn, who atleast rivaled Gohan's base power.

This is how much damage Vegeta got:
~ Beaten up by KKx3 Goku;
~ Hit by a Kamehameha almost twice his power;
~ Sacrificed a lot of power for the fake moon;
~ Lost an eye;
~ Lost his tail. Although that in itself doesn’t necessarily mean he lost power, the transformation back to base is quite taxing;

As I said on Neo, I think Piccolo wasn’t nearly as fucked up and I’d put him at 40-50%.

Ah, good point. Gohan is stronger than Krillen naturally at this point, but yes, a rage boost would make a lot of sense.

My only issue is that Goku does appear to be more messed up than Vegeta based on feats. Goku is severely damaged in a way Vegeta doesn’t reach until much later. Goku is incapacitated.

The damage/power loss ratio works in mysterious ways. The point of that finale is that we thought Goku was spent, but he still had one last trick up his sleeve. Somehow he had more power left than everyone thought (Plus bukujutsu).

Realistically, I always thought being crippled = no power at all. Kuririn could’ve killed Vegeta in the end of the Saiyan Saga, after Oozaru Gohan crushed him. Granted, Vegeta was totally shattered (while Goku “only” lost his limbs), but you get the drill.

I have Gohan at 4,200 and Vegeta at 4,500 when they fought.
23rd TB Damaged Piccolo was probably at 50%-60% of his full power.

That's absurdly high. Goku cannot even stand up, how do you have Goku at half power when he's forced to be laid out on his back?

Goku said that even with a 5fold Kaioken he wouldn't be able to beat Oozaru Vegeta. That means Oozaru Vegeta must be at least at 45,000. As for Gohan, maybe he hadn't shown all his power against Nappa, because he wasn't angry enough.

That's possible, but it's not like Goku is tremendously weaker. He should be about on par with Piccolo, if not rivaling. It's not like you are saying Goku is half Piccolo's power here, are you?

Goku was damaged, but I'm pretty sure he was referring to his FP self. Otherwise he'd have said something like, "Now that I'm so weakened, even with a 5fold kaioken I can't win."

Why would Goku speak about past power? He can’t multiply his previous power. Goku is speaking in the present. A present KKx5 Goku can’t get it done.

If he was at 4,500 post power ball, he was probably 5,000 pre power ball. As for Goku, he must be at most at 2,500, because King Kai said that even if Vegeta didn't transform, things would be hard for Goku.
