How far can the power pole/nyoibo extend?

It's made to reach Kami's lookout, but it can reach the moon, which must be several times further up from the Earth's ground level. Is it mentioned in a guidebook how far it goes? Can it go to Namek? Lol.

He doesn't say that it doesn't have unlimited length, but the "at least" kind of implies that it has a cap, and that cap is probably not much farther than the moon. The moon is already absurd enough as it is.

How'd you find that?

The at least just sounds like a minimum to me. Or rather, if he wanted to convey it having a much longer max length, what would he say?
Combined with it being a difficult question makes me think he just doesn't know himself, so gave a non-committal answer. Or he wants to keep it a mystery for fun.

Crazy to think those are probably kids mailing in lots of postcards in the 1980s, excited to interact with a mangaka. Now they're in their 40s-50s, excluding any who passed already.

Yeah it could be. It's very vague obviously, just depends on how you interpret it. The fact that he says it's a difficult question makes me think that it has a finite limit. Otherwise he could easily say it can go on infinitely.
