How big is this gap? @SSJ2 contends that this is not just your typical 1 shot gap. I’d have to agree. He says it’s 2x, I’m not sure if I’m willing to go that far.

It's similar to the Piccolo Daimao feat imo. It's also similar to the velocity seen when Krillin kicked the Bully. I'd say 1.6x is a minimalist approach, 2x is fair if you're trying to differentiate the one shot feats, and somewhere in between is probably most reasonable.
