This jumping feat by Namu is literally absurd.

Now, flying, running, jumping, lifting feats do not scale linearly with power level, but it's interesting to see what a difference this is between Namu and Krillin/Goku right after their training ends. Namu is ridiculously high up in the air.

Also, there is no evidence that Namu is in the least bit inferior to Goku or Jackie.

Jackie/Goku/Namu are all equals at the 21st Budokai. Goku is able to get the advantage on both of them by pure skill, not power/speed advantages.

I have Namu a little weaker than Goku/Roshi, since Goku got up after Namu's trump-card attack.

If Roshi did that attack are you saying Goku wouldn’t have gotten up?
Seeing as Roshi was able to defeat Goku with a regular kick while both were equally tired because his legs were longer, yes. An attack like that from Roshi would probably fuck Goku up for a while.

Goku easily outjumped Namu without even meaning to, and out-maneuvered him in mid-air as well on top of taking his best attack and taking no lasting damage. He isn't equal to Roshi or Goku. Still stronger than Kuririn, but not Goku level.

A better question is whether Namu would've beaten tailless Goku.

He never outjumped Namu. Namu was already on his way down.

and out-maneuvered him in mid-air
Skill issue.

taking his best attack and taking no lasting damage
That's literally Goku's special trait. Do you think this wouldn't occur if they were equals?

This is absurd. Namu had outpointed Goku and would have finished him if he had landed on the pressure point correctly. Namu had Goku outmatched.

@Animelover5487

Jackie is not stronger than Goku, despite his longer legs. Namu would have been able to pull off the same exact feat in the same situation.

What special trait does Goku have? That is headcanon.

The only reason Nam was able to hurt Goku because he fucked up when spinning himself and ko'd himself. If Goku was smarter and less naive back then he would have won convincingly.

Goku has amazing durability. He's often surviving things he has no business surviving or his opponents end up completely baffled. He's got some cartoon character type of durability going on. He just bounces back from everything no sweat and with a smile.

The only reason Nam was able to hurt Goku because he fucked up when spinning himself and ko'd himself.
Negative, Namu actually outpointed Goku and had him hurt badly, which is what set up Namu's ultimate attack. If Namu hadn't been trying to hold back and missed the pressure point, he could have killed Goku there.

If Goku was smarter and less naive back then he would have won convincingly.
Goku is already a fighting genius. He's takes risks no doubt, but you are selling Goku far too short. He's already insanely skilled.

Goku's durability was highlighted several times throughout the Budokai.

Chapter: 45, P5.1-4
Context: after Goku gets up after being hit with the Tenku-Pekeji-Ken
Yamcha: “He stood up!”
Kame-sennin: “Wh…what kind of guy is he…?!”
Namu: “N…no, that can’t be…”
Announcer: “Incredible! Incredible!! Incredible!!! Incredible!!!! Absolutely incredible!!!!! Contestant Son has a terrifyingly durable body! Contestant Namu, who launched the attack, is even more stupefied!”

Chapter: 48, P4.2-5
Kame-sennin: “He’ll really be something if he can get up again after taking my kick.”
*Goku gets up*
“…! He…he looks completely fine…”

Yep, Goku has incredible durability.

Plus, these arguments make no sense. What, you guys think if you add 2% power to Namu he finishes Goku? Make it make sense!
