I think Kanki is smarter than Riboku. He's likely the strongest general that's ever been shown up to where I read. It was cool that time in which Riboku set up a trap to get the Qin's army in the center and be killed... And then Riboku seemed calm and used some sort of position iirc in the shape of a shadow and Riboku and others were like "what's it??"...I was hyped, like Riboku didn't know much about battlefield strategy so I thought he just checkmated them on the spot but he hadn't much idea on that formation and just wanted to make them cautious so the night would fall and they could scape, which was really smart too.
I remember when Kanki and Riboku were having their final words, Kanki said like "you all have looked / affected things too past yourselves". Riboku was legit shocked when he said that but not because he thought Kanki had a secret play, it just... Resonated with him as he round it a legit criticism.
But yeah I definitely wanted to see more of Kanki. I find him and Riboku one of the most interesting characters there. I was liking that (forgot the name) general with the helmet, the father of that edgy young prospect talent from the army... But I was disappointed when he turned out ot be a huge genius but... Kind of s weakling who defended on his soldiers as shields to escape as he couldn't battle so well and was just "be my shield, I'm outta here"... That took that initial aura he had imo
