Super Vegetto is super overrated. He uses full effort multiple times and Buuhan implies Ghost Kamikaze > Vegetto.
He even gets caught with a candy beam.
Every feat pulled off by Vegetto can be done at 1.5x

Vegetto wasn't at full power or even taking the fight seriously the entire time in an attempt to get absorbed. He even fights without using his hands at one point.
About the only attack Buu even lands is the candy beam.

You showed several pictures of them fighting. You didn't include him saying he wasn't using his full power or him overwhelming Buu with this arms crossed.
Also ghost kamikaze is never implied to be greater than Vegetto, he laughed that attack off just like everything else.
Again Vegetto is toying with him even when not at full power. We don't even know how strong Vegetto's full power is, but regardless it's not close.
This is why I don't debate Dragonball anymore. The context and statements have been the same for 30 years.

Ain't no way. Vegetto could have never predicted he'd survive that. If he was faster, he would have dodged it.
He took it seriously initially. He laughed it off because it's such an easy attack to counter, he doesn't disrespect the power of it, which Buuhan believes to be greater than Vegetto.
He's probably very close to full power.
Never said it was close. I'm saying, it's more like 2x than 50x like most think.

I don't think being caught off guard at point blank is indicative of not being able to dodge the attack. Vegetto was just standing there as he was trying to egg on Boo at that point, he wasn't expecting a candy beam.
Even if you want to take that angle with the Ghost Kamikaze attack, that attack is by no means ordinary. Super Saiyan Gotenks managed to obliterate Boo with it despite being at a severe disadvantage.

It looks like regular speed. When Vegetto reappeared there was no after image where he was originally at.
And I'm not seeing SSJ Gotenks rivalling Boo at all. Boo broke out of the Galactic Donut with zero effort and was pounding Gotenks. All Gotenks managed was a headbutt.

Gohan broke out of Buutenks Galactic Donut, it’s just a dumb move.
Gotenks has the headbutt and Piccolo’s statement suggesting they are close.

Prove to me that he took it seriously in any fashion? Like Buu uses it, he easily counters it and basically laughs it off. There's no concern at any point.
It's at that point he literally says he's not using his full power and then easily fights off Buu with just his feet.
Like the things you're implying are not backed up or outright contradicted by the text. What is supported by the text is that a non-full power Vegetto is strong enough to toy with Buu with his hands tied behind his back.

There's also a statement from Piccolo about Gotenks having no chance against Boo though...
As for Base Vegetto = Gohan Boo, I'm not strongly for one side or the other. Vegetto transforming immediately might suggest he's not on par.

Base Gogeta scales far above SSB Goku and SSB Vegeta in the Broly movie, to the point where you could argue that Vegetto in base might be comparable to Boohan, similar to how the anime filler portrayed it.
Plus those few panels where Vegetto looks like he’s putting in effort against Boo don’t really mean much. He was trying to get absorbed and had a plan. No way he was using the same level of power he would’ve used if he wanted to kill Boo.
