It's one of the worst arcs in all of one piece and easily the worst post time skip arc. It's the best arc to remake because they can fix how terrible the pacing is. They still can't make Hody a compelling villain, or bring any level of stakes to the arc.

Something will fill the void, something always does. Honestly Frieren is the best ongoing series currently but it's not in jump.

A lot of the cast and crew are fans of the series. That's one of the reasons why it works.

Their immortality and overwhelming haki make them stronger than their physical ability. Not that they aren't insanely strong. Luffy would have beaten all five of them if they didn't regenerate. Hell even Zoro clashes with one of them.

It's still 100% up in the air that Kuzan is even truly against Garp. But no Koby and Garp are always going to be one the same side.

Luffy was fighting kaido without gears and just infused conquerors. I'm not sure if he could win without gear 4/5 but it'd definitely be a fight.
