Very much. They fight Cell is the one to knock him down (quite fast, too), after Cell knocks him down #16 doesn't even get back-up to fight but fires-off his special-attack which he also knows can't finish-off Cell.

Agreed with Victorious. I don't see anything suggesting one has an advantage over the other. I have them exactly equals.

I always felt that #16 is lacked of speed.

Original Japanese quote is that they're roughly equal, not completely. Something like 95 to 100 isn't really that off.

It could be. But I don't see anything in the fight leading towards Cell being stronger. If anything, I see #16 being a little bit stronger.

On-top of that when Cell knocked #16 down he wasn't even all that damaged, and #16 resorted straight-away for his special-attack. Not even directly, he did it by using surprise to his favour instead of using it straight in a fight.

Well that's really the only way I can really see cell being stronger is if he actually powered up at that point after having his tail ripped off.

But really before the rocket punch they were pretty even in shots landed.

Well like I said if you read the manga the only hit #16 landed on Cell before the rocket punch (other than the one he landed when Cell tried to absorb #17) was when he grabbed him by the tail and pinned him to the floor, which mostly happened because Cell expected to be able to drain his ki. Cell also got in a few more hits before the rocket punch which shifted the battle to #16s favor

I like them as equal. With #16 having infinite stamina and thus likely going to be the winner if the fight goes on for a long time. Especially considering Cell can't absorb him.

Actually I think Kamiccolo vs #17 is the 'unequal' fight in this little saga. I like #17 97% of Kamiccolo. When the fight between those two first started it did seem like Kamiccolo had the very slight upper hand.
