1) If Luffy hadn't eaten the devil-fruit, could guns have killed him at the beginning of his journey? Zoro seemed to freak-out when the marines pointed all those guns at him and thought he was going to die and he was high himself.

2) I can't remember the Arlong (or any of the other East-Blue fights for that matter) fight that well either, but how easy would it have been for Luffy to defeat Arlong without the fruit?

1) Yes.
2) Luffy would get stomped if he had normal durability.

True I also think Luffy's Gomu-Gomu attacks have momentum behind them to give his attacks more weight when he reaches back and hits them, like rubber.

It absolutely does. His rubber body gives every attack a level of elasticity, greatly increasing the speed and power of the attack. Defensively it helps absorb any physical attack lacking Haki.

Because I was busy the past few days I got to read today upto chapter 15 so far (I think I left-off at Chapter 7 or something). I think I'm going to keep going today.

His whole fighting style was based around being made of rubber. If he never ate the fruit, he would probably fight more like Ace and Sabo did as kids. A smart fighter builds their game around whatever attributes they have and Luffy is a smart fighter.

If Luffy lost his DF abilities in East Blue as an adult, he would probably get fucked up pretty fast, even maybe by Buggy. If he lost his DF powers now, he would still be strong but for at least a year or so he'd probably only be around as strong as Franky. It's really hard to say how long he would be able to fight for though, since he's used to relying on the elasticity of his body, which probably allows for more efficient movement and definitely increases his physical endurance when moving around. With training I think he would make something work, but idk if he would be able to catch up to Zoro again.

1. Fisher Tiger was killed by bullets despite being someone Jimbei respected and who's feat of scaling the Red Line barehanded struck pre-TS Luffy with awe, so definitely.

2. Hard to say. The momentum of his Gomu Gomu no Mi attacks seem to definitely be a major factor in some of his victories and his durability. He'd have definitely died when Buggy shot a Buggy Ball at him and even if he somehow avoids it, Arlong would likely be taking him down due to the speed of his attacks.

Well current Luffy from what I heard could be quite high as it is because he got Haki which I heard basically nullifies Fruits, so he could definitely defeat Crocodile even if he didn't have the DF I'd think because Crocodile got owned was Luffy was able to hit him.

If he had Haki, yes, but who's going to teach him that in East Blue? He might become able to use his Haoshoku Haki, but without the training to utilise Kenbunshoku Haki, he's not beating Croc.
