Yep, I'm running with a set like this....

Tien ( Powered Up More ) > Yamcha's KHH > Tien ( Powered Up ) >= Yamcha's WFF > Tien = Yamcha

This seems good.

Where would you place Roshi ? Something like this ?

Roshi ( Unseen Full Power ) > Roshi ( Serious Vs Tenshinhan ) ~ Tenshinhan ( Powered Up More ) > Roshi ( Initial ) ~ Yamcha ( KHH ) > Ten ( Powered Up ) >= Yamcha ( Rogafufuken ) > Ten ( Initial ) = Yamcha

Did Ten power up against Roshi ? And where would be Goku ( Initial Vs Chappa ) in this chain ?

Hold on I'm checking the sub for some other things right now. I want to make sure Yamcha's WFF is indeed 2.0 against Tien, that actually ends up being a pretty big difference and no reason to move on if that's not right.

So pick your poison, which way are you going to lean here?
It's up-to people who make power-level lists or chains to make it all work as consistent as they can for their lists or whatever, even if AT didn't really think about it.

But it could also just be a possibility, that like Kuririn at the 21st Tenkaichi-Budokai, Yamcha & Kuririn under-estimated themselves, and their improvements. Even Goku after defeating Chapa-o said something like, "I want to get to fight the really strong guys like you.", and he basically confirms it in his match with Kuririn and calls Kuririn really amazing, but he also called Chapa-o weak before.

There's about 10 statements suggesting Chappa is a beast. I'm sticking with that.

Chapa-o can still be strong, what I meant was that Yamcha's and Kuririn's improvements were greater than they thought. Obviously isn't a fact, but it is a possibility.

Statements clearly hint that Yamcha and Krillin have made great progress and given how confident they were going into the quarter-finals, it's clear to me that they are indeed stronger than Chapa.

Emmeth Goku shows far staggering power than that. I'll get into that later though.

F, there's like 10 statements that show they are not stronger than they suggested. Yamcha has zero statements Krillen has maybe one.

They have 12 suggesting they are weaker than Goku and Jackie Chun's initial powers.

I think he shows powers that far surpasses any man, but Krillin is still confident he can beat Goku from what he's seen. Of course Goku was hiding power and a lot of it, so Krillin did lose.

by Roshi's comments about Krillin when watching the fight between his pupils, he's basically saying Krillin's almost surpassed himself.

Krillen isn't actually confident that's all false bravado. Roshi says it himself, Goku starts to show some of his true power when he starts stomping Krillen.

For what it's worth, Yamcha doesn't seem to actually know Chappa. He only mentions legends of Chappa.

And then he proceeds to watch his movements and still not change his mind. Derp.

After a strong statement by a man he really respects: Jackie Chun.

Jackie Chun is implied to be their superior as well.

Exactly. Why wouldn't he take Chun's word for it then?

I feel like any indication of Goku (@Champa) being stronger than Yamcha and Krillin is immediately retconned. Roshi says any one of them can win, and they're all constantly shocking each other with their power. Goku calls Yamcha amazing against Tien, while he thought Chappa was a joke.

That doesn't need to be retconned. Champa has just appeared, so Goku is obviously stronger than they were at the 22nd Tenkaichi-Budokai.

Chapa was honestly just being overrated by his reputation.
