I'm having some trouble filling those gaps. How big are the power ups supposed to be?

Feel free to include other levels if you think they're missing. I'm kinda curious about Tenshinhan specifically, some people say he powered up at least once vs Yamcha? I don't see that. It was more a effort thing than a power up. Even when he knocked Yamcha it was because he was off guard.

@ahill1 is this why you give Tenshinhan two level ups against Yamcha?

"Off guard" attacks didn't seem to have such importance in the 22nd Budokai. For instance, Tenshinhan's off guard attack didn't effect Roshi so much, as well as Goku punching Tenshinhan in the gut (when this later was taken off guard by thinking Goku couldn't out maneuver his Solar Flare) didn't knock out Tenshinhan unconscious. If Yamcha was instantly out cold after the kick, then I'd think Ten had a good power advantage

Maybe. He also deflected the KMHMH, which was Yamcha's trump card, so likely > Rogafufuken 2.0.

I think they’re fairly close, perhaps even equals. Roshi only says he’s got a feeling Goku is stronger, and that’s based on a super speed Goku never shows again.

That's actually not what Roshi said.

Tsuru-sennin: “H-he’s outrageous…He just might be good enough to have defeated Tao Pai Pai…”
Kame-sennin: “Goku gets bigger and bigger each time I see him…I get the feeling that my position’s already vanished…”

His position vanished. That doesn't sound like he's a close rival to Goku.

His position was being the strongest. The moment someone surpasses him, no matter by how little, his position has vanished.

That's definitely not the terminology I would choose if someone surpassed me by a mere couple of percentage points. Regardless, your notion that the speed Goku used against Krillin is greater than that used against Tenshinhan is factually incorrect.

Tenshinhan assumes that Goku has been going all out despite witnessing his speed against Krillin.



This is directly after Goku used the same high speed move on Tenshinhan, who easily bested it - which caused Roshi to have an orgasm of sorts.

Roshi isn't matching up to this level of power. It's pretty evident that this match is beyond him already, and by a decent margin. At best I see Roshi's full power being > 90% of Goku's Tournament Level, but not much more.

Good point about Tenshinhan keeping up with Goku's disappearing technique. I thought that was a failed Zangouken, but the tapping sounds give it away. Roshi probably couldn't watch the faster bits of the fight, he didn't even notice Goku stealing his sunglasses lol. I'm thinking 90% is good. Vegeta vs Zarbon style.

I'm also thinking I'm gonna lower Tenshinhan's initial level @ Goku. That was a pretty close fight until Tenshinhan got Goku on the wall.
