I don't think Kami is that greatly weaker than Piccolo and Goku. He was after all able to block a punch from Piccolo and Goku had to plead with him not to help. Which Piccolo later says Kami is worthless and then everyone agrees. But if Krillen can help against Freeza, anything is possible.

An extremely weak Piccolo was able to stop Kami and everyone else in their tracks from going to help Goku.

Perhaps you can tap into your full power in one last ditch effort at times? I don't know. Kami got stopped to from helping? Or was it just the humans?

Well I assume Kami would've helped in that scenario (can't be assed to look up the scan).

Perhaps. After Piccolo released the "strongest ki ever" up to that point, Tenshinhan commented that he still had some energy left, so perhaps just reserves.

Haha same here. Ain't no way I'm checking the manga for anything anymore. Guess we will have to wait for someone who could.

Energy works in such a strange way in DB.

It does. Goku seems to think that Piccolo is done for after releasing that attack, but seemingly can't sense that Piccolo has a good amount of energy left.

Kami was not trying to help Goku; only Tenshinhan, Krillin and Yamcha were. Piccolo still kept them away with just a blast of Ki, which was enough to make humans give up to help Goku.

But it is strongly implied that Piccolo, even as he was, could defeat Kami. After all Piccolo was confident in winning Kami and everyone with only the power that he left.

Also, I think Cyborg Tao is somewhere feasibly close to Krillen and Yamcha. His power increase is very ridiculous I would say.

Well, I have Krillin and Yamcha considerably higher than the Cyborg Tao Pai Pai. Yamcha Just wanted to help Tenshinhan because Tao Pai Pai used a gun, not because Tao Pai Pai had enough force. I think the provision of Yamcha and Krillin front of Piccolo and Kami says it all: while Tao Pai Pai was treated like trash by Tenshinhan, Yamcha and Krillin were praised.

In addition, Krillin and Yamcha could follow the movements of Tenshinhan and Goku (Weighted), while Cyborg Tao could not accompany Tenshinhan.

Just opinion. She was confident in taking on Goku even after seeing him take out Chappa in one blow, implying she could do the same.

23rd TB Chappa is also stronger than 22nd TB Goku in my opinion.

Can you post the statement where she states she's confident in taking on Goku? And is it stated or implied somewhere that Goku with his weights on is stronger than Old Piccolo when he knocked out Chappa? Goku was extremely suppressed with his weights on when he knocked him out. He also wasn't anywhere near his full power the first time he fought him. So what evidence is there for 23rd Budokai Chappa > 22nd Budokai Goku?
