Here comes a genius thread only someone of my level can come-up with. @Warmmedown sit the fack-down & take notes, son.

So recently I went back and saw an old post I made (I think) and it was about how devil-fruit’s power correlated with the user’s (physical?) strength.

Eneru was able to create huge levels of lightning, so was Crocodile for sand but does that have to do with their own strength or is it something independent of it, where they work on their devil-fruit powers the way Crocodile talked about in Alabasta? I’d think that’d be more for the creative ways they use their powers though than actual destructive-power.

For example if @Warmmedown had Crocodile’s fruit he might only be able to create the sand and lift it up and manipulate that minuscule amount of sand to maybe throw it in someone’s eyes, but someone of Crocodile’s strength can create a huge facking sand-storm that picks-up speed and that other attack. Is it because of his (physical?) strength or what?

Discuss…

If you had Ace’s fruit you might only be a little-bit hotter like slightly, but not sizzling hot like Ace.

I think it depends on the fruit. Sabo was able to output tremendous power with Ace's fruit directly after eating it, but he wasn't able to control it as well. Having said that, if Don Krieg ate Enel's fruit I highly doubt he'd be able to destroy entire islands with it. It's likely a combination of the fruit's power and the user's mastery.

Yeah, that’s what I meant. For example let’s just say for this case God Enel is a 1 in power/strength and Luffy is a 10, so if Luffy at his fruit his attacks/lightning and all would have 10x the destructive power. That’s what I mean.

There’s another example of the bomb gai in the Alabasta saga. I think he was Mr. 5, he kicked Luffy like multiple times and couldn’t really do what he wanted which was knock-out I guess, but I’d guess one kick from Crocodile with that ability is all it’d take.

For a fruit that is based on physical strength, probably. I'm not sure if you can assume a logia or special paramecia would work the same way.

There’s still a base strength though. For example Luffy has rubber attacks, but his normal attacks can be amplified by his devil-fruit.
