A question about fusion- Well Vegito actually.

Does Base Vegito = SSJ3 Goku's PL + SSJ2 Vegeta's PL x Fusion Multiplier
or Base Vegito = Base Goku's PL + Base Vegeta's PL x Fusion Multiplier
Or like does it depend on what state they fuse in?

please tell me you get what I'm trying to say, I'm really not in the mood to be descriptive with this question

Yeah I don't think the Super Saiyan forms apply unless they fuse into said states or learn the forms while fused

I thought the reason Vegito is thought to be so much stronger than Gogeta is because Vegito is the sum of a SSJ3's power and a SSJ2's power while Gogeta is just the power of two SSJ2s....if that's not the case then shouldn't Gogeta and Vegito be roughly equals?

Potara: a or b * y (z if the rival conditions are met)

z > y > x

a = Average of the 2 base forms (Ultimate counts)
b = Weakest person's base form (Ultimate counts)

I don't have pl numbers so I can't tell but whichever one of those satisfies this:

SSJ2 CG Gohan > Kibitoshin > SSJ Boo arc Goku > Kaioshin > base Boo arc Goku > base Boo arc Gohan > Kibito

I don't see why the two fighter's transformation and it certainly doesn't have to do with Gotenks.

A person's power up/transformation that isn't even being accessed at the time they are fusing somehow factoring into the overall power of the fusion is just strange. It's like Goku benefiting from his Kaioken while fusing in base, imo

That's how Goku described the Fusion to function like.
It creates a being with powers beyond those of the people fusing.
That means Base Gotenks is stronger than the kids unfused and Gogeta is stronger than SSJ3 Goku at Base form.

Fusion is just a mess when you bring in multipliers and battle powers anyway.
Base Gotenks is supposed to be an amazing power up from what the kids have shown, yet his SSJ form is only around Goku's power.
