That sounds really arbitrary… How did you get that?
The stronger fighter must suppress himself to the weaker fighter's power. The fighter’s power that is not used for the fusion is not used at all. It is sound logic. You disagree?

Is withholding transformations not a form of suppression?

It is, Goku Ssj3 does not count

So it’s their highest power that they have in common?

If not being transformed doesn’t count then shouldn’t fusion be based on their base powers? And merging as SSJs only makes the fusion come out already transformed like it was the case with Gotenks?

Yes, Metamoran fusion is based on their highest common power. That's a great way to put it.

Transformations count. I didn't understand in how you were referencing it. The highest common power is what the Metamoran fusion is based off of.

Just because it works doesn't mean it's fact. It might work well for the story but that doesn't mean we invent our own rules and treat them as fact.
