Type of logic. 17 says he has no rival, Vegeta doesn't do all that bad. Just how does 18 compare with Imperfect Cell?

Which Imperfect Cell? Gingertown Cell? I consider him to be a near equal to Vegeta, as he claimed he needed to speed up his mission with people like Vegeta around. He is likely distantly rivalling 18.

Gohan only considered Goten a good sparring partner once he found out that Goten was a Super Saiyan, not when he learned about Goten's base power. So I'd say there is some difference between Base training and SS training.

Goku's comment can mean two things...
1. SSJ Gohan~Base Goku, which makes Gohan too weak.
2. SSJ Gohan~SSJ Goku.

I think that, since that's the only evidence about Android Arc Gohan's power, i'll take it.

Your interpretation is garbage. Gohan's base power is inferior to Piccolo's suppressed power, which is likely inferior to Base Vegeta.

Whatever you want. I stick with the 50x boost and don't take Gero's statements too seriously. But if you want to get technical a 3-5x Super Saiyan boost is required to make it work. The boost is too small for me to keep for the rest of the series so I abandoned that logic.
