Nah, Future Gohan with 2 arms is on-par with #17 on the list. Doesn't make sense to me.

Maybe #18 went further in the future, watched her anime counterpart gang up on Gohan, and did the same thing

I wanted to keep the gaps as small as possible as it's implied. We never saw 2 Armed Gohan vs Less Than Half Seventeen,
maybe Gohan lost because of stamina, not because of power.

He lost an arm and almost died. Seems a little extreme if he was equal to him originally.

Also, Trunks seemed surprised to hear that Vegeta would lose against #18 when she fought him evenly for a time, implying Gohan (and himself) never fought the androids evenly to his knowledge. Gohan even said he feels lucky to have survived.

I've always gone with something like 100/93/85 for Vegeta, Goku and Trunks for this arc.

It's difficult to tell really.

How do we envision the Future Saga? How strong is Super Saiyan Future Gohan when he fights 17 for the first time? Considering how weak Super Saiyan Future Trunks was when he was losing to Base Gohan, it's quite possible Future Gohan could be weaker than Namek Goku was.

So I think the main question first and foremost is Namek Goku vs Future Gohan. Who wins that one? And based on that, it does appear that a Super Saiyan at this level can gain quite a bit of power. In one year, Gohan went from almost losing his life, to being confident in defeating 17. I don't think there's any special rules that Super Saiyans can't continue to grow in power unlike how some think there is some limit there.

All in all, being a Super Saiyan at this stage has no impact on growth. The statements should be way more important than any Super Saiyan logic. Trunks went from losing to a Base Saiyan to being told he would catch up to that Base Saiyan's Super Saiyan in 3 years. It's pretty crazy.

I think one arm Gohan would defeat Namek Goku without too much problems. Not sure about 2 arms Gohan though.

And yeah, kid Trunks went from weaker than base Gohan to stronger than his Super Saiyan in three years. Pretty impressive. What I find odd is that future Gohan actually said kid Trunks would catch him up in months or something like this lol.

Goku went from 90.000 to 3.000.000 or above in a few hours. I think there is a range of power where a Saiyan's power grows like crazy,
like Vegeta implied to Jeice. Alternate Teen Trunks was probably at that range, so Gohan expected him to have gains similar to Ginyu
Saga Goku.

He said soon or something. It might have been odd, but seems like he wasn't all that wrong since Trunks surpassed him in 3 years.
