Any good explanation for Namek/Yardrat gap?

Can anyone produce a reasonable explanation for Yardrat Goku being so much stronger than his
Namek self? I mean an explanation other than ''that's what the plot wanted''.

I mean, what exactly is "so much stronger"? I've got him going from 150 mill to 220 mill.

He was gone for a year. I guess he just did his own training along with learning how to teleport?

Goku just figured a way to get way stronger.

If anyone knows how to get strong in a short period of time it's Goku and he didn't seem to hit any limits on Namek either, and if he did (which I think might have been impied at the time he arrived on Namek) those limits were broken when he got his Zenkai.

Given the implied chain of SS Goku (Yardrat) > SS Trunks >> Mecha Freeza >= SS Goku (Namek), yes.

Let's say Goku's first transformation strained him so much he almost died, until he reached Yardrat. This can work, Daizenshuu-wise:
Goku(Arriving on Yardrat) - close to death
Goku(Post Healing) - 225,000,000
Goku(1 Year Gap) - 250,000,000 - 270,000,000

So? Vegeta learned the Final Flash in the Rosat and got a huge boost at the same time, and Goku himself learned 2 advanced techniques and still got a massive boost during the Saiyan arc.

Goku said the teleport was pretty hard to learn and that he spent a good time on it, to which Kuririn concluded that was the reason Goku didn't come back to Earth during all this time. This somewhat implies the majority of Goku's time was spent learning the teleport. Not saying he didn't get a good deal stronger though.

Vegeta learned ASSjin in 2 months so he had a plenty of time to learn and get stronger. Goku was training to get stronger and learned 2 techniques opposed learning an attack on the whole time which gives no time to train to get stronger.

That's only because y'all take that whole chain way to seriously. Furiza isn't even sure he's could beat goku, just that he'd powered up immensely. Trunks isn't fighting to kill etc.

You can easily have post yardat goku not being massively stronger than his namek self.

That's the minimum you could have imo. Trunks was sure he could easily defeat Freeza and encouraged him to power up, like he didn't give a fuck. I think a 88% gap could work, depending how do you see Vegeta vs Kaioken Goku or Vegeta vs Zarbon.
