Are any DB characters scared of the dark? And does Solar flare work in the dark?

Can Tien light up a room?

[Spiral-Force]

It's doubtful a super-powered fighter would say they're scared of the dark, but lacking ki sensing or night vision in that condition against someone with such qualities would be rough, assuming the opponent could compete with them beforehand.

Solar Flare came across as extremely bright from what I recall. I'd be surprised if a room remained dim while it's performed.
