Arlong vs Mr. 3

3 isn't allowed to use Candle Champion. Who wins?

Arlong ought to stomp. Luffy isn't suggested to be leagues above his East Blue self during Little Garden, yet was only given some trouble by Mr. 3 1 V 1 with Candle Champion. Arlong would both be physically capable of beating Galdino and should be capable of avoiding Candle Lock.

But wasn't 3's defensive ability able to block even Magellan's attacks? I have trouble believing Arlong would be able to penetrate his wax.

If Arlong is taken off guard, then Mr.3 likely gets him the way he got Zoro. Otherwise, I think the candle champion would be 3's way through this, personally.

That seemed to be purely due to the wax being able to negate the poison rather than it just having great durability, otherwise it'd be inconsistent with his feats in Little Garden.
