Artificial Zoans

Do you think that we'll find out that these have some sort of negative drawback due to being artificial? I find it odd that a Devil Fruit could flawlessly be produced without having any negative repercussions on the person that eats it.

I think it's almost a certainty that artificial zoans have negative affects. There's a reason only scrubs are getting to use them.

I'm trying to think of what the negative effect could be. I can't think of anything major.

Extra weakness to haki
negates own haki
quicker drowning
Extra susceptibility to Blackbeard's power
Memory loss
Slowly turning full zoan/fully becoming the animal

edit: last 2 and even the second swem unlikely if a Yonkou has been using them for a prolonged amount of time

I don't know if this is because it's an artificial fruit or from his own inexperience but Momonosuke not being able to control his transformations well might be one?

Thought it was just me.

Can't see shiz.

And mononosuke's fruit seemed legit and he had it for a while so the drawback doesnt seem to be something that can be exposed without external influence such as fighting.
@controlling transformations could Chopper control them well when he started?
