Ash's Strongest Pokemon

Out of all of his Pokémon which ones do you believe are the strongest. They all have done gamewise impossible things and have their fair share of moments of performing impressive feats.

Probably Pikachu by way of plot.

Charizard is up there. Snorlax. Lapras comes to mind too. As for the new ones I'm not too sure.

Charizard's the only one who beat a Legendary completely 1 on 1, so I'm going with him, though peak Pikachu did have the courtesy of beating Legendaries that resisted it's attacks. Sceptile's also up there due to taking down a Darkrai.

Agreed with this, Bulbasaur and Swellow are pretty powerful too

Charizard or pikachu if I were to choose I'd say Charizard but pikachu is his main boy so it can likely be him.

Pikachu lost to a Snivy. Charizard is clearly stronger

Probably blaze-induced Infernape. If not him then maybe Charizard?

After some debate, I think Lapras might be worth a mention. It wasn't used for many traditional battles, but Ash did rely on Lapras a lot during the Orange Island escapades, more so for abilities rather than strength.

I'd say his strongest Pokémon varies between episodes. I'd say Pikachu but then there's the issue of it losing to low leveled starters at the start of each new region.

I'm not sure about newer sagas, but I think Pikachu was always consistently weaker than Charizard in Kanto and Johto - Charizard fights evenly with Magmar after Pikachu got godstomped, Ash uses Charizard as his main mon in his battles against both Gary and Harrison (I think that's the guy), while Pikachu is used as any other poke in the latter and not at all in the former.
