Baby kills Goku?

Let's say when Baby launches the Revenge Death Ball in their first battle, Kibitoshits reacts too late and Goku is killed before he can use Kai Kai. How do things unfold from there? Would Kibitoshin try bringing Pan or Oob to the Kaioshinkai to unlock their potential, or does Baby continue his reign for as long as possible?

Didn't Bebi tell Goku he wouldn't come back once he got hit by his Revenge Ball? Assuming Shin does find Goku in the afterlife, everything goes back to normal.

If not, Pan take Goku's role. Everything go as it did in the series.

Not when he can't be wished back. I doubt Enma would allow for Goku to screw the rules as he did for Vegeta, since Baby wasn't trying to destroy everything like Boo and he wasn't able to let his bias intervene when Piccolo requested to go to Hell to help Goku.

That's assuming Oob and Boo still fuse. Kibitoshin may interfere as soon as Oob gets beaten up and stop this from happening.

They didn't bother when Galu was stuck in Hell in the next arc, so probably not.

Was it after this that they used the Spirit Water to free some of the others from Baby's parasites? If so, I say Pan or Oob gets recruited to help with that, but then, if we want to use the best option possible, Kibitoshin brings Trunks and Goten for training and we get SSJ3 or even SSJ4 Gotenks to battle baby.

Before. Kibitoshin didn't do that until after Goku had gone SS4.

If that's the case, then I stick with my story here. Only Oob or Pan takes Goku's place but ultimately loses. Then he tries again with Gotenks, who has a much better shot imo. Though with neither of them having a tail, SSJ3 is as far as they get.

Unless, of course, Gotenks gets Ultra Instinct.

Well, considering the time it takes him to unlock their potential, both aren't mutually exclusive

Anyways, with Goku dead, I can't see any other way they could win. Old Kai would also make sure they get the Potaras in case anything shit goes down.
