Bardock fled to Earth?

Following the story of the TV Special, Bardock decides trying to change Planet Vegeta's fate is pointless after being damaged by Dodoria and when fleeing in his pod from Planet Meat, notices Kakarrot following behind him and stays on the same course to reach Earth. How does the story unfold from here?

Going by DB Minus/Broly history, the earthlings soften him up and he becomes from thereon an easy solution to any conflict until the Saiyan arc, where he's killed by Vegeta

Going by the CHAD Bardock Special history, he decides to coach his son to conquer the planet but can't bring himself to wipe out the people after what happened with the aliens who granted him the power to see the future. In this scenario, Galu does not become amnesiac due to Bardock finding where his spaceship landed before Grandpa Gohan could drop him, and Bardock doesn't particularly object to Galu killing animals or earthlings that mess with him for food. Galu eventually ends up wiping out the Earthlings by the time that Raditz arrives, and Kakarotto and Bardock just join the Saiyans only to be killed by Freeza at some point.

I think Bardock would avoid wiping out all the Earthlings considering being outside the Freeza Force would force him to have to find a new planet for food. There's also Bardock's foresight which has already seen Galu's training on Earth that may inform his decision to see what use Earth has as well as maintain a low profile from Freeza's forces.

I don't think Freeza would become aware of a backwater planet like Earth without the Saiyans invading it, so they should be safe in that regard. Raditz expected Kakarotto to wipe out the Earthlings (esp with the moon present) in a matter of years anyhow.
