Why did Goten and Trunks jump to fusion after feeling Tagoma's energy and SSJ at that if Tagoma was so weak? And why didn't Gotenks headbutt outright destroy Tagoma's nuts (lol!)?

I genuinely have no idea what to make of Gotenks here tbh. The adults go out of their way to not let the kids fight when Gotenks is almost as strong as SSJ3 Gotenks. Then he arrives in the battlefield and instantly defuses? He took 30 minutes to get there?

At least Tagoma has his “body of steel” excuse

Who knows. Tagoma was nearly rendered infertile by Gotenks. The writers would do anything to prevent Goten and Trunks from showing up or doing anything useful.

Gotenks definitely can, there's a reason they needed them to gag their way out. Gotenks 100% would wreck Tagoma and most likely would wreck Freeza as well.

What if Gohan was weaker in BoG? Gohan didn't train at all after the Boo arc so logically he would be a lot weaker in BoG and Gohan was shown using SSJ when he powered Goku up for the God ritual when we know Ultimate doesn't need SSJ since it is so much more powerful.

Maybe, but it can’t be by much since he still has his Ultimate form and Piccolo is surprised that Beerus could beat Gohan so easily.

The ritual required them to be SSJs, that’s why Gohan transformed.

Iirc, it just required 6 pure hearted Saiyans not necessarily for them to be SSJs unless Pan as a fetus was already a SSJ which wouldn't make sense since even in Super Hero she isn't one.

Yes, but if Cold had aborted Freeza, Goku and Vegeta wouldn't have been pushed to train this hard and they would have lost to the Androids, Cell, and Majin Buu. Also Freeza's help saved the entire multiverse from destruction.
