Base Trunks (Cell Games) vs Future 17/18

Considering the base kids are either equal to #18 or not leagues above her and the gap between her present and future self certainly isn't close to a 2x gap, I doubt it. CG Base Trunks likely isn't too far ahead of his Pre-Rosat SSJ self. He might be able to take on Future #18, but not both of them.

He did manage to blow Cell out of the city with a kiai, and Cell had likely absorbed some humans by then. However, he still did turn into a SSj to kill the androids and Cell, so his base form is likely not too far above the androids, if at all, and definitely below whatever level Cell was at that point. Trunks is gonna lose this match.

I don't think Trunks turning SSJ means he cannot beat them. It's possible he just wanted to play safe and beat the twins as fast as he could. This is the same dude who killed Freeza with a sneak attack despite the fact he could smoke a FP Freeza, after all.

Why would his Base be that high in the first place?

Nothing stops him from being that strong.

Like Cap said, I could see Base Trunks being above his pre-rosat Super Saiyan power. That would at least make Cell's acknowledgement of his improvement reasonable.

Outside of that, I don't have him beating the Androids in Base.

If i go with SSJ still being 50x, he's weaker than the Androids.

Heck no, Trunks would get slaughtered even fighting them individually in his base form.

Nah, he's on par with them possibly, but he can't beat them even individually.
