I know a lot of you out there have read this manga. What is your take on it and how do you like it.

CC and Yoshi recommended me to read this. I dropped at the first couple of chapters due not motivation enough or something.

As soon as I picked up, I enjoyed the manga a lot. I'm actually the ones who think the arcs after Golden age were still good.

Same here. I really enjoyed the arcs after the golden age. But I also think that the Golden age arc is extremely overrated. People say it's the best arc in manga but it's far from it. Also I think their is too much sexual moments in the golden age arc. I really don't think They needed to show Guts having it with Casca or the Girl God hand be naked. Also I can understand why they would show Griffith raping Casca but still it shouldn't have been as open about it as it was.

I disagree with Golden age being overrated. This arc is definitely the best arc of Berserk. Its also the reason why Berserk gets praised these days.

It is the best arc in Berserk but far from the best in all of manga

Prime Berserk (Golden Age) is beastly. Easily a 10/10.

Tower Arc is sort of underrated, too.

Golden Age was 8.5/10 at best maybe 9

The resurrection arc was extremely good as well. But I have to admit the Golden Age arc is easily the deepest and most well written arc in probably manga history. Also the darkness and symbolism in Berserk is off the top. If you think about it Guts is technically the Satan of Berserk. He is going against God making his own destiny and changing destiny and abolishing the idea of evil

Because I didn't enjoy it that much. It was too tragic for me. Especially Volume 13

Not enjoying it due to it being too tragic doesn't make it overrated, as it has no bearings on the series' quality of writing in plot or characters, but rather due to your personal taste. Also, what exactly were you expecting from it? As far back as volume 3, we were already aware that Griffith would become Femto and that Guts had good reasons for vengeance. Had it been toned down to a less tragic affair, it could've potentially ruined this backstory.

It was meh 7/10 makes sense. Though I really like Noseferatu Zodd. What do u guys think about his character
