After reading Battle Angel Alita: Last Order, I can safely say the Zenith of Things Tournament ranks far above any other tournament arc I've seen. Unlike most, it provides equal focus and justification for each team rather than just the main cast and unlike most battle series, the power ups and progression within it are given pseudo-scientific reasoning and a fair bit of build up rather than being asspulled. Also, Vilma's backstory is one of the best flashback segments in manga history.
