I was kidding.

I don't have any solid opinion about Vegetto vs. Beers due to general apathy, but I'd say that he (Vegetto) should at least be able to initial Beers with a Kamehameha, even with only Super Saiyan 2. His feats aren't even that impressive, all he did was beat up SS3 Goku and SS Gotenks.

IIRC, Goku said he couldn't defeat Bills even if he fused and that it was futile and that was befor he powered-up. That's why I thought this might be interesting.

True, but he also knew that Beers wasn't using his full power when he beat him up. One could say Beers (expected) > Vegetto > Beers (initial).

I just don't like Goku's statement about Beerus to be referring to Vegetto, as it was blatantly stated that the potara would never be used again.
