Considering Bio Broly was unable of one-shotting SSJ Goten/Trunks, or even #18 for that matter, Cell tears him apart. If it's the Cell who SSJ Gohan fought, then this may be interesting, assuming that the kids weren't running on their Toei nerfed power in that movie (since the anime had them being possibly weaker than #18 whilst in SSJ).

pre-RoSaT Goten is equal to CG Goku for me, so Kid Trunks is slightly stronger, and so are the post-RoSaT kids.

I fail to see how the former forces Bio Broly to be as strong as the original's Movie 8 self. Sounds more like you're letting your Broly bias run rampant.

CG MSSJ Goku is nothings special imo. Neither is M8 Goku. Don't see why the kids wouldn't be able to surpass that, even pre RoSaT.

Gohan had some inner monologue about how if he isn't careful the kids will surpass him soon. Seems okay to assume that a smaller gap can exists between them without Goten landing a hit.

Like, say, if Goten was 75% of Gohan, it's possible. One can favor a larger gap too, I suppose, but I'm just pointing out how it can work this way.

Not saying your wrong, but coming from the other side, you have to also add in the time that would have lead up to Movie 11. That includes the martial arts tourney, where they had a legit battle with at least each other, and possible encounters leading up to that.

That adds to where Goten was after he fought Gohan but before RoSaT.

Edit: I'm assuming M11 takes place Pre room.

See, you're ignoring Gohan sweating profusely, gritting his teeth, and overall struggling to block his brother's hits and saying Goten couldn't land a hit, he must be a lot weaker!

Gohan, despite rusty, still has much more experience than Goten, being trained by Goku and Piccolo and being in real battles. Goten has no skill, thus him not fully connecting a hit can be explained by Gohan's slight power advantage and skill advantage.

I'm not sure. But even going with that, some events still happen in between. Goten 3/4 of Gohan's battle power can struggle to land a hit. Give him a bit more training and the kid's tournament, and he can be right up there.

And while I agree that his skills are nowhere on par with what Gohan's should be, Goten was trained by Chi Chi. She's a legit fighter imo. Not that it changes much in comparison. I just didn't want poor Chi Chi's skills thrown in the garbage.
