Bored, need an Anime to watch.

Super is literally the only anime I'm currently watching and waiting a whole week for a new episode doesn't help. Need some suggestions on some other good anime, and please don't give me a shitty one. It can be one of the mainstream one's, it really doesn't matter to me.

Watch Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood if you haven't already. This Anime is a masterpiece. The story is very well-written, the characters are interesting, the worldbuilding is solid and consistent, as well as a whole lot of awesome, funny, heartwarming and dark moments. Oh, and the drawing and animation are masterfully done, plus most the musics, including openings (and even the endings, which is rare for an anime) are an ear-worm.

This anime is definitely worth watching. But if you've already watched it, I recommend Steins;Gate, which is also an excellent Anime.

It's more that all the things that make the series great are absent from the anime adaptation to put in more waifu bait and anime tiddies. Not to say the series doesn't have waifu bait and anime tiddies, but it's hardly the focus like it is in the anime. Game mechanics in a video game anime? LOL, buttshots! I'd rather people never experience the series than only watch the anime. SAO has some amazing world building going on, but that's mostly ignored when it comes to either anime adaptation.

The biggest problem with recommending anime to an anime fan is they probably already watched it. Like who hasn't watched Brotherhood? But it should always be recommended just in case. Just like Cowboy Bebop, Trigun, yu yu hakusho Evangelion, Gurren lagan etc.
