Technically there are no contradictions.

I’m always a believer that un-contradicted official sources should at least be considered seriously. Is it as serious as the source material? Well, no. But like if the anime or guidebooks have something that’s legitimate, why mess it up?

For example, King Yemma and King Kai from what I recall have a 2,500 and 3,500 power level. I never saw the need to change that.

The fact that the implied gaps are too large to fit in numbers lower than 320. Farmer must be at 0.05, BOZ Goku should be at 750, and still there's barely enough room.

1. Roshi/Krillin know that Goku wears weights. Maybe they mean that his weighted form is just as strong as his old weighted form. Not that I can believe Goku would have made zero progress since the 23rd (through training and even more so if zenkais were happening).

2. Maybe they just mean he's at least as strong as before. Eg you knew a 16yo kid. He was impressively strong for his age. You meet him when he's 22 and he's impressively strong for an adult and you say "he's just as strong as before". It just means they're as impressively strong, but that they have the same strength.

That's nice, but there's no quotes suggesting anything or arguments being made for why from my understanding. And now we have a bulletproof anime line, things have changed now for me.
