Can Base Kids >>> #18 be justified?

Disclaimer: If you intend to post in this thread about Freeza being stronger than Base Saiyans, don't. This thread is specifically for people who believe otherwise.

Now, most people agree that Base Goten and Trunks aren't much higher than #18 since they didn't easily overwhelm her in their fight. But, can one just say that the suit restricted them that much? Is there anything that contradicts them being far above her?

I found it difficult to have base kids > 18, even more >>> 18, since she was surprised the kids were stronger than her as SSJs, which wouldn't be the case if they were already equal to her in base.

I dunno....even as SSJs I don't put the kids above 18, I barely even put them above android arc SSJs......but that's probably just me going with what I want more than what's correct ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

The only thing it contradicts is Piccolo not being one shotted by Cell Jrs, who could as well be toying. If you don't
give Piccolo huge gains from rosat, this chain can work.

Trunks was surprised about Piccolo's gain when he came out from Rosat which refute all the argument against Piccolo being < Base Saiyans.

Even if you don't go by Freeza>Base Saiyans, the kids being stronger than 18 in base form simply doesn't work if you read the end of the fight.
18 is confident taking the kids down after they transform, which doesn't make any sense if she was already inferior to them before.
