Can Gogeta beat Omega Shenron by SS3?

The gap between SS4 Gogeta and Omega Shenron is massive compare to SS4 Goku and Baby Vegeta. Can Gogeta beat Omega Shenron by SS3?

Yes, and quite easily. The fusion multiplier is just too massive for him to lose, especially since he was boosted against Omega Shenron. On the other hand, though, he'll probably f*** around the whole time and lose anyway.

But it drained Omega's power as well and revert to his normal form. Can SS3 Gogeta damage him enough to win?

Probably not. Just look at how much stronger SSJ4 Goku was compared to his weak SSJ3 self in the Baby arc

Could it be argued Super Saiyan 4 was just the most convenient option rather than the only option?

It could, but taking into account the two Saiyans' personality and desire for a good fight regardless of the situations (eg. SSJ Goku VS Freeza, Vegeta VS Cell, Goku VS Majin Vegeta), I highly doubt they'd go for an option that would make Yi Xing Long no challenge if their lower forms were capable of fighting him on even grounds.

No. ssj3 Gogeta would not beat Omega Shenron. Idthink that was even an option as they both were ssj4 when they did the fusion. lol

I think Gogeta is 4 or 5 times Omega Shenron, but yep, if Gogeta were to fight him with SSj3 he would've been harshly stomped.

Considering ssj 4 Gogeta lost anyway, whatever happens to ssj 3 Gogeta is illegal in all 50 states.
