Cell (all out speed) vs SSJ Gohan

Both are out of character and fighting somewhere isolated.

I think this fight plays out how SPC vs Ssj2 Gohan would look like. Cell was especially frustrated after his near death experience, Gohan is pissed from his father's death and I think the gap is the same as well.

Gohan could fall susceptible to Cell's strategic fighting, but I think Gohan is holding a large enough advantage to still pull out the win.

In power, they are more ot less similar. Gohan's kick did superficial damage to Cell, just like he got superficial damage from his headbutt.

Cell has more chance of winning, however, thanks to better skills.

Gohan is indeed stronger, but it definitely doesn't like a 1.5x strength difference now does it? It feels minimal to moderate. 1.2-1.25x or so.

The main reason I'd think twice about Gohan's superiority would be Cell's return, but do you think if he were like 4% weaker than Gohan he'd go "nah I should lay low for now"?

Just a question. I think Gohan being sold as the one to beat him severely alters everyone ki sensing. Cell being a little respectful of his power seems to say a lot. He honestly thought he killed Gohan along with the others? That's insane.

I always interpreted it as Gohan finally letting go of his reluctance and self doubt.

Yea, Gohan just lets his power loose. So does that mean he wasn't really injured? Or that heavy injuries can't stop you from using full power?

Perhaps injury doesn't effect an enraged power?

I don't know, it's a super complicated situation. It's just shit made for movies.
