I noticed you have a rather dubious gap between a potential SSj3 Gogeta and Bootenks. What do you make of Goku's confidence that Fusion Gokhan would be enough to beat Bootenks, and Bootenks' hesitance to allow the fusion to occur?

Two reasons:

1. Goku's description of fusion:

<small>Goku: “In other words, by having two people merge into one, they’re able to become a single, new human with amazing power which either of them on their own absolutely wouldn’t be capable of. It really is incredible! Those two from Metamor were completely weak and gentle on their own, but by using Fusion they transformed into a substantial warrior!''</small>

If Gokhan's power was restricted by suppression and any form of Gokhan ended up weaker than Gohan, the description would be off, no?

2. Gogeta being no match for Gohan-Boo. If he's in between Gotenks- and Gohan-Boo, he's realistically close enough to Gohan-Boo to pose a threat; Boo's statement makes it sound like Gogeta isn't much to him, at least in my opinion.

I've just been going over this issue myself. The Trunks, Vegeta, Cell Junior situation.

I believe it's suggested Cell Jr > Vegeta > Trunks as well just by the smallest of degrees.

I think it is something like this.

Cell Jr 100
Vegeta 98
Trunks 96

I don't think we can put Trunks much further than that, the Cell Jrs only have a slight lead on them not one where they can do any major damage imo.

There's also that Vegeta feels he'll be the one to finish-off Cell, before Goku revealed his true-power, which if Trunks were near equal with Vegeta for some-reason wouldn't make that much sense, I think.

They did train together, right?! Wouldn't it make sense for them to know. I guess you could say Gohan not knowing he was stronger than Gohan can kind-of support Vegeta not knowing Trunks' power maybe, but it could also just be denial on Gohan's side (he doesn't want to believe Goku is weaker than him).

I prefer the Viz's quote on that one. It suits the context a lot better, as Piccolo wouldn't just back out of a gift due to power. Especially considering that he goes to confront Kaioshin after about being the Grand Kaio. I dunno, it just seems to me that Piccolo quit due to his potential godly status.

I'm very inclined to agree, but I also checked the Jap anime subs, and they have the same thing. I'd find it easier to argue Kaioshin's strength was retconned like Gohan going SS2 at the 25th TB than to argue Piccolo was stronger than Kaioshin at the 25th TB.

Maybe I'll make a pre- and post-Retcon level for Kaioshit.
