Vegeta and Trunks entered separated by the second time. Vegeta was first and then Trunks. I think the two should be almost the same, I think it is the moment of the series in that they are closer. What we have to remember is that Trunks knew the power that Goku had demonstrated to Karin was not his maximum power. The son of Vegeta discovered that during the conversation between Goku and Piccolo. Goku stated that Piccolo had no chance against Cell, and Trunks showed clearly surprised. At this time Trunks realized Goku (50%) was not Goku (100%). Piccolo probably discovered that during his training in the rosat.

So it's fair to say that Trunks had a greater grasp in Goku's power, while Vegeta hadn't. For this reason Vegeta appears confident unlike his son.

I'm very inclined to agree, but I also checked the Jap anime subs, and they have the same thing. I'd find it easier to argue Kaioshin's strength was retconned like Gohan going SS2 at the 25th TB than to argue Piccolo was stronger than Kaioshin at the 25th TB.

Maybe I'll make a pre- and post-Retcon level for Kaioshit.

I just can't go with the belief based on my Cell Games beliefs on Piccolo's power. I see no reason for him to be retconned, so he should be above the Base Saiyans who're in turn stronger than Kaioshin.

I think either way you look at this situation, someone has to be retconned. There is no perfect solution, but I feel as though mine eliminates the most speculation on who randomly got weaker for no reason.

You have Goku ( Cell Games ) at 66% of Gohan ( Cell Games )... this is too much IMO. 75/100 is more than enough for this two IMO.
