Unlike the other humans, Chaozu has yet to do anything related to combat, his contribution to Tenshinhan's fight with Bikkura Koita only being insulting the latter. You could say him even being capable of being there without instantly getting KO'd is a testament to his ability, but it doesn't seem as though Bikkura Koita or Zauyogi even bothered targeting him (particularly when he lacked the battle damage Ten or Yamcha had from the latter). Even though one could assume he made great improvements like the rest, there's no actual evidence to suggest he can handle any significant character after the Saiyan Arc.
