Pui Pui throws one kick. That's it. Realistically, that should still be enough for onlookers to gauge his level if they really wanted to, but Vegeta receives all the attention in this sequence. If Vegeta far exceeds expectations, then that's all Kaioshin is gonna think about.
Kaioshin was worried about what advantage the planet Zun would provide Pui Pui even after Vegeta punched his face in, and it turns out it was just 10G, something Vegeta grew up with. I mean, really, the sequence writes itself.

I think the argument here is that Shin’s surprise is tied to his expectations for Pui Pui. But if Shin expected Pui to be as strong as he really is (as Feats implies), then Vegeta’s power is still impressive

My main takeway here is that Pui Pui should be no different from Yakon. Both are guys Babidi got to beat Shin and co.. Did he just get lucky because Yakon and Dabra actually were strong enough?

I think part of the reason why Kaioshin was astonished because Vegeta defeated a powerful opponent so easily. Kaioshin makes it a point later on that he never expected the Saiyans to have been able to summon power that could defeat Babidi's men easily which is why they were so confident. That would naturally apply to Vegeta's battle with Pui Pui.

Based on his movement and reputation. A part of why Kaioshin was so impressed was because he didn't think they would easily beat Babidi's men on their own in the first place. He originally assumed they'd all need to work together to win.

Exactly. Kaioshin can see Pui Pui moving at far greater speeds then himself. That's what makes Vegeta so impressive, that Vegeta can easily handle a guy who is way beyond Shin.

So remember, Pui Pui speaks for the entirety of Badibis men in terms of strength. He’s one of the strongest Badibi has.
