Could any stronger form of Cell have tanked IT Kamehameha?

I'd think SPC is the only option we have that is actually available to do so. FP Perfect Cell and Power Weighted Cell are much stronger than Goku, but Kamehameha amp was clearly something else. Cell, even on those forms should not survive minus regeneration.

Nah, if this was the case, Final Atonement would have wiped out Buu. People don't realize all these massive boosts come with severe consequences.

Broly could simply be Power Weighted Cell's counterpart rather than FP Perfect Cell's. Movies and anime works too different from manga logic, so on there, is possible Power Weight form increases for everyone the same.

1- Koyama is very unaware of how Power Scalling works
2- He likely doesn't give much thought to his series or movies
3- Hatchiyack/Cell comparison (if existing) isn't available on movies or OVAs

Plus, movies when it comes to receiving attacks like nothing is very different from the original story.

He said it on twitter because fans keep pestering him about power scaling questions back a couple years ago.

Agreed with all your arguments, but I think the comparison makes sense (they have similar narrative purposes) and nothing contradicts it. Hatchy even got forms similar to Cell (Giant and Super).
