Could Gohan be Super-Saiyan in Movie 10?

I know this might be weak evidence, if evidence at-all but the movie-poster has Goku and Gohan standing back-to-back each-other and Goku is a Super-Saiyan, so would it make sense for Gohan to be a Super-Saiyan 2? Goten and Trunks at the front are also not transformed.

Yep, but if we were to follow what you said in the top post he would be the weakest Super Saiyan 2 tier.

Toei bothered to make design differences between when he actually fought Broly (with spikier hair, one bang) and when he was in the ki blast struggle with Goten (two bangs, less spiky hair) so I doubt it. The lack of lightning means little, since most of Toei's productions are hilariously inconsistent about the form's lightning aura.

I already think Broly is low SSJ2 Tier, if Gohan was a SSJ was fighting Broly than that'd make him look worse. The only way I can see that working is Broly either getting weaker for some reason or not getting stronger from a Zenkai at all.

I wonder why they neglect to put it on a form whose features they don't even particularly care to depict properly (like when Goku has SSJ hair against Majin Vegeta), yet they constantly slap it on power up auras that didn't have lightning in the manga? I recall one time SSJ2 Vegeta didn't have lightning against Kid Boo except for like in one frame and Kid Boo later generated lightning from his body to electrocute him, lol.
