Could Vegeta deflect the Death Beam?

Goku was able to parry multiple beams away with ease, but Vegeta had to kick Gohan out of the way rather than deflecting the beam. Can he deflect it head on?

I doubt it.

The best he could do is get the fuck out of the way.

He'd lose a hand trying to do so in my opinion. He couldn't even see Freeza after he upped his speed.

Nah, he'd just get pierced trying that.

One thing I thought was funny was how well after Goku deflected the beams, Freeza is shocked to see Goku dodge them later--saying "No one ever dodges that!!"

I guess I just assumed someone smacking a barrage of your attacks away is more of a mockery than the same guy (hella powered-up) dodging one. Then again, it's Freeza

Even vegeta knocking gohan out of the way was furiza toying with them.

I guess I just find freezer or frieza to be tacky.

Freeza logic: It's humiliating to get slightly hurt by a guy's Kamehameha blast while I'm at 50% of my power. But not the fact that I've been running around naked for a volume and a half

But smurf, what did Freeza mean when he said that to Dodoria? Was he suggesting Vegeta could've snuck in and stole the ball from him while they weren't looking?

I'm just trying to understand if it's or something actually legit.

I think he looked at the crystal Dragon Ball so much while snuggling with it that he got the power to see the future. He fastforwarded a little too much though and saw Vegeta stealing the ball 6 chapters after Dodoria actually died, so the advice fell on deaf ears.

Either that, or his love of dragon ballz makes him a little paranoid.

Btw, it's funny just imagining how screwed they would've been had Vegeta not woke up from his nap before they made the last wish.

This isn't pointed out often, but they also forgot Nail already told them the Namekian dragon can grant 3 wishes before they fought the Ginyu Force

Even Toriyama's most acclaimed storylines are riddled with bouts of amnesia.
