Well, he seemed pretty surprised hearing the name Kakarot, despite it being mentioned countless times. I guess that can be chalked up to Freeza not listening....Nah

There's also the part where third form Freeza was shocked (He knows they're Earthlings by this point) at the idea of Gohan being a Saiyan, believing Raditz was most likely his father. I'm pretty sure when Zarbon was pleading with Freeza not to call the Ginyu Force, he said the only other Saiyans besides Vegeta was "that guy on Earth and his son". Does transforming also add to amnesia? Kid Earthling with Saiyan traits; must be Raditz's son

It's funny the anime actually tried to explain this saying Piccolo thought Freeza grew giant, but they also made a plot hole where Dende heard Piccolo mention he and Nail were one. Then when they get warped to Earth, that knowledge goes poof

Vegeta, with his well-attuned Chi-sensing, was able to sense Gohan and Krillin the second they decided to use more power to get to Guru's. Vegeta eventually catches up to Krillin after Gohan went on ahead. Vegeta senses a spike in power and assumes it's Goku even though Gohan's the only one that's gone.... Where did he think Gohan went that fast? And when did Goku have the chance to arrive?

Well, Vegeta knew that Gohan and Krillin were on Namek due to Dodoria being Dodoria so he [probably] just assumeed that Goku was there with them too.

Also, the strategy against Gurd was to not let their guard down. How are they supposed to fight him, again? Just throw Chi-blasts at him the whole time while he keeps freezing time? Would being on-guard have stopped him from freezing them with his Paralysis Arts? I somehow doubt that.

I think he thought that was Goku because of the suddenly power up. But he just saw Kuririn got way stronger in a short amount of time, so meh.
