Could you accept: [1 Arm] SSJ Future Gohan ~ [Less Than Half] Future 17?

Gohan already knew and accepted he was going to die when he knocked out Trunks and took off to face the Androids.

Would he have been so resigned if he had an advantage over the power 17 displayed in their last battle?

Considering his acceptance of inevitable death, could any statement he made claiming to be stronger than that be written off as bravado at that point?

Future Gohan in the movie basically implied he didn't think he'd succeed with the "Someone else will arise and defeat you" or whatever he said. Regardless, he still was going to fight them.

After knocking Trunks out in the manga, Gohan seems to think Trunks is the only one who might have a chance at defeating the Androids someday.

When he actually goes to fight the Androids, he tells them that he's much stronger and is going to hand them their asses now. After #17 makes his revelation, Gohan is completely shocked and basically frozen in fear. That alone tells me he intended to win the fight, or at the very least, take one Android down. It was a suicide mission, but one where he thought he could do something. It makes no sense for him to be that shocked if he already believed he was screwed from the jump.

He's got a real fight on his hands. Of course he has to take both of them out, but it doesn't look like 18 plans on jumping in, if 17 starts losing badly then she definitely would though.

To decide the gap between 1 Arm Gohan and what he believed to be Androids' full power, you have two answer two
questions:
1. How confident was Gohan to win? On the one hand, he doesn't seem very confident when he talks to the unconscious
Trunks, on the other hand, he seems confident like hell when he talks to Androids.
2. If you think he believed he had a chance to win or he was sure to win, how much of a gap is required to explain his
optimism? Remember Androids had three advantages...
-They were two against one.
-They had unlimited energy.
-Gohan was one handed.
So, how much of a gap is required for Gohan to believe he can overcome all those disadvantages and win? If you believe
he thought he had this in the bag, then his gap over Less Than Half Seventeen might as well be 1.5x.
