Yeah, I think this was before Ace joined to the WB pirates. Do you think Ace get a lot stronger after that? So could Jinbe, right?

Ace definitely did, he ascended to the rank of 2nd Division Commander. I doubt that he was immediately in that position. Jinbe might have, but he was treated as a weakling in Marineford.

I see. Agreed with you. Is that I remember @Captain Cadaver saying Ace was probably equal to Luffy Gear Second (post time-skip) because Jinbe was implied to be on par with him.

I've changed my mind on that part, as the plot and general potential of the Ds would imply that Ace >> Jimbei at Marineford. It took more than just stalemating Jimbei for Ace to earn the 2nd Division Place, having battled and defeated several New World crews in between his fight with Jimbei and being considered for the position.

So how Ace is compared to Luffy (post time-skip) in your opinion?

Probably more or less on the same level as Gear 3rd Luffy, though no higher. At Marineford, a clash against Aokiji when Ace had a natural advantage over him only stalemated the Admiral's attack, implying that as far as overall stats go, he was still a fair bit away from being a threat to Admiral tier characters. He also still got wrecked by Blackbeard beforehand when his intangibility was negated.
